Online:
About sites that claim to open U.S. Bank Accounts for Non-Residents
We ask you to please be cautious of web sites
claiming to provide information on how to open Non-U.S. Resident
bank accounts for $19-$99. We have found an increasing number
of web sites selling inaccurate & outdated non-resident U.S. bank
account information online over recent months to unsuspecting
foreigners to the U.S., and felt that our visitors should be aware
of this. In addition, there have been a flurry of web sites
popping up on the web that are posing as full service mediators or
"consultants" that assist non-residents open U.S. Bank Accounts.
Unfortunately, after payment is submitted to
these "companies", the customer is redirected to an Individual Bank
Account Application Form from a specific U.S. Financial Institution
that must be filled in, printed out and faxed or mailed. The
only problem is, only about 10% of non-residents are able to open a
U.S. Bank Account using this method.
We've been providing the resources needed for
Non-Residents of the U.S. open U.S. Bank Accounts hassle free since
1995.
We realize how difficult it can be & important
it is for non-residents to open a decent U.S. Bank Account. As
a result, we have dedicated all of our free time to finding new ways
for non-residents to open U.S. Bank Accounts quickly & easily at
dozens of the biggest U.S. financial institutions.
OPENING
A NON-RESIDENT U.S. BANK ACCOUNT WITH THE
PATRIOT ACT IN PLACE. Clearing up
the confusion...
There are several
methods to open a U.S. Bank Account, and they
are as follows:
1. You can open an International
Brokerage Account which acts as a bank account
if you are outside of the U.S.
2. You can open an account with a
Chartered Financial Institution In The U.S.
3. When opening a U.S. Bank Account
with big International banks abroad, you must
now prove your identity when opening a financial
account outside the borders of the U.S.. There
are several banks here in the United States that
will open accounts for foreigners, without the
need for them to be present here. In our eBook,
we provide a list of financial institutions that
offer certain checking accounts that will open
accounts for foreigners. In fact, there is a
special package they send out to you.
Application forms are constantly changing, which
is why we recommend that they contact the
institution to obtain the package. Phone
Numbers & Email addresses are provided. The
only stipulation is that the account opener must
prove who they are claiming to be at the U.S.
Embassy in their country. Depending on the
country you are looking to open from, you may or
may not be required to physically show up at the
embassy so they can verify your foreign
document. Once the U.S. Embassy verifies your
identity, you then will be allowed to open a
special checking account via U.S. mail or
online.
ALL BANKS &
FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS THAT PROVIDE THE ACCOUNTS
ABOVE ARE LISTED AND ORGAN IZED IN OUR
DIRECTORY.

open us bank accounts within 7 days.
While, yes, we realize that
foreigners are able to open bank accounts in the U.S. quickly, we
also recognize that in order to achieve such a task, proper
resources are required, such as application forms, banking
references, telephone & fax numbers, etc... Most non-residents
are unaware of this, and simply fall prey to websites on the
Internet.
All too often, new U.S. Bank
Account Openers come up to us, complaining how they were taken
advantage of from another web site guaranteeing non-residents a U.S.
Bank Account. They come to us, and we straighten everything
out.
We are a group of immigration
lawyers that run this web site to assist foreigners in opening a
U.S. Bank Account. We know that banking & doing business
offshore is much more efficient with a U.S. Bank Account &
International Debit Card, and sincerely want to help those that need
a U.S. Bank Account.
We offer an ebook at our site
that provides all of the resources, tools, application forms &
contacts needed for foreigners to open a U.S. Bank Account within 24
hours, guaranteed.
Ever since the Patriot Act was signed in 2001,
it has become almost impossible for Non-Resident Aliens (Foreigners)
to open US Bank Accounts. But we have found a solution! Our
step-by-step guide will show you how to open a us bank account
without the headaches.
In the days of yore, gold was the standard for
commerce. In the new age, it is the US dollar. World over, nations
compare and quote their currency against the greenback. Central
bankers of sovereign countries continuously monitor which way the
dollar is going to turn next.
In such a scenario, it is indeed quite logical
for any enterprising individual to have an account for oneself, in
an American Bank that is based on that country’s soil. Just
visualize: how much it would facilitate business! Especially, with
internet banking booming day-by-day, payments of both the type –
receiving as well as making – would become very convenient. An ideal
situation would be to be able to operate a US checking account that
provides online, internet access. An ATM or debit card would be a
topping on the cake. And a bank that allows funds from a PayPal
account to be electronically transferred to one’s bank account?
Well, that would complete the businessman’s (or woman’s) dream!
Obstacle Course
However, dreams are far removed from ground reality. This country,
that values free enterprise above all else, is increasingly becoming
paranoid with self-preservation. The 9/11 incident shook away
whatever false sense of confidence that the US had on its control
systems. In less than two months, on October 26, 2001 to be precise,
the President signed the “Patriot Act”, which expanded the scope of
the law in handling instances of money-laundering. Though the Act
has not banned international accounts, obviously – it has merely
made them more expensive to operate, due to more required scrutiny
of the account owner and their transactions.
The nation’s laws recognize three categories
of people when it comes to account opening and operating – US
citizens, Resident Aliens, and Non-Resident Aliens. Citizens of
America, can of course, cruise on the broad highway at full speed.
Resident Aliens are individuals who hold an immigrant visa,
popularly known as the green card, and have stayed in the US for 31
days during the year of application, and also have cumulatively
spent slightly more than six months in the past three years
(including the current year). It is the Non-Resident Aliens (or NRAs)
that get the harshest treatment in the new scheme of things.
